Mr Balogun started Polysmart Packaging Ltd in 2013; The Company produces shopping bags and utilizes Polythene waste as the main raw material. It started as a small scale enterprises (with less than 20 staffs) and grew it to a large scale enterprise within 5 years, making the company among top 10 in industry of at least 250 active companies (including at least 100 foreign companies), The company now has over 150 staffs, over 450 dealers across 21 states in Nigeria, having grew sales by over 800% and balance sheet by over 1000% within same period.
Mr Balogun had over 12 years vast experience in banking Industry including Domestic Operation, Treasury Operations, Funds transfer foreign and local and Global Trade. He worked with CSL stock brokers, Standard Trust Bank, UBA Plc, Access Bank Plc and Access UK, He rose to level of Manager and Head of Global Trade in Access Bank Plc before resigning from Access Bank Plc in 2013 to promote Polysmart Packaging Ltd.
He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ACA) May 2001, Master in Business Administration from Manchester Business School UK (In View), He is a graduate of Accounting from University of Lagos Akoka (Graduated 1998).He attended different highly prized training both in Nigeria and abroad including but not limited to Insead Executive Education (Singapore), International Banking Operation training (Millan Italy), Trade finance for Africa (Cairo, Egypt) he is a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS).
